Overview
Hubql is a early stage startup aiming to provide a collaboration platform, where both technical and non-technical stakeholders can work together effectively, streamlining the software development process and making it more collaborative, fun and efficient.
As a software engineer, I mostly worked on developing and implementing features for our platform on the front end, as well as fixing bugs. I worked closely with the founders, in house designer and full stack developer.
Unfortunately, Hubql was not able to raise funds to compensate me (or anyone onboard), which led to my departure from the company.

How does this relate to helping you?
During the pandemic, I decided I wanted to change industries and while still working in hospitality, I taught myself how to code and build websites, after coming across a HTML tutorial on YouTube. After a long period of self learning and updating my CV, I was fortunate enough to get a opportunity at Hubql.
Through my self taught journey and working at Hubql, not only did I find joy in building different things on the web, but also, I realized that many people are having difficulties building their own website, whether its for their own business or for themselves. This is where I can step in to help.
